I'm Ksenia Sizaya, a Montreal-based artist.
My work is inspired by nature, movement, changing light, and the places that leave a lasting impression.
MY JOURNEY AS AN ARTIST
From St.Petersburg
to Montreal
My connection with art began at a very young age. I attended different art schools throughout the years, always following my curiosity and passion for creating. From traditional art and illustration to digital art, I explored different techniques, styles, and ways of expressing ideas. My passion eventually led me to study Graphic Arts and Illustration in St. Petersburg, Russia, and later graduate from St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design, where I was awarded the qualification of Graphic Artist, specializing in Graphic Arts.
Since then, my style has continued to evolve. I’m inspired by texture, color, emotion, and the feeling of a place, using them to create work that feels personal and ever-changing.

Throughout my career, my work has been featured in major retail stores across North America, including Arhaus, CB2, Crate & Barrel, RH, HomeGoods, and more, as well as in numerous catalogs and e-commerce sites.

I want my art to bring the feeling
of being outdoors into your home —
that sense of wonder, freedom, and connection you feel when you’re surrounded by nature.
I've always been drawn to the outdoors and to the emotions that come with it: the quiet of a forest, the flow of water, the lines of mountain ridges, the feeling of standing in front of a vast landscape, and the memory of a place that stayed with you long after you left.

Where I find inspiration
Over the years, I’ve also developed a deep passion for the outdoors and an active way of life, which has become a big part of what inspires me. I’m drawn to mountains, water, changing light, and the small details and textures found in nature.
Whether I’m hiking through the mountains, paddling through rapids, riding through fresh snow on a snowboard, or simply spending time outside, I’m constantly surrounded by colors, textures, movement, and moments that stay with me. These experiences naturally find their way into my work and continue to shape the way I paint.
