ABOUT
I paint the places
that stay with me.
I'm Ksenia Sizaya, a Montreal-based artist.
My work is inspired by nature, movement, changing light, and the places that leave a lasting impression.
MY JOURNEY AS AN ARTIST
From St.Petersburg
to Montreal
My art education began in St. Petersburg, Russia, where I studied graphic arts before earning my Master's Degree at St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design. I was also awarded the High Qualification in Graphic Arts.
From an early age, I was drawn to different styles and techniques. Over time, I found my own voice — one that blends texture, color, and emotion, and is always evolving.
A BACKGROUND IN ART. A CAREER IN DESIGN.
Over the years, my work has been featured in major retail stores across North America, including Arhaus, CB2, Crate & Barrel, HomeGoods, and more. and has been featured in many catalogs and e-commerce sites.
Art has always been my way of seeing
the world and hold on to the moments that stay with me.

THE FEELING BEHIND MY WORK
I want my art to bring the feeling
of being outdoors into your home —
that sense of wonder, freedom, and connection you feel when you’re surrounded by nature.
I've always been drawn to the outdoors and to the emotions that come with it: the quiet of a forest, the feeling of standing in front of a vast landscape, the memory of a place that stayed with you long after you left.
The beauty of
NATURE
The outdoors and an active life are a huge part of what inspires me. I’m drawn to mountains, water, changing light, and the little details of nature. Being active has always changed my perspective.
Whether I’m hiking through the mountains, paddling through rapids, or riding through fresh snow on a snowboard, I’m surrounded by textures, colors, and moments that stay with me, influencing my work.
