Inspired by an ocean shoreline observed by moonlight, this mixed-media composition conveys the depth and texture of a nocturnal costal landscape. Small stones are tossed against the canvas while still wet and then set in place by further layers of paint. Jet’s dimensional, pebble-strewn pattern mimics the moon reflected on seafoam as it bubbles through the rocks.
